Ponce + Roble Art Gallery

The Ponce + Roble Gallery in Madrid is a great new gallery in the city's Barrio de Las Letras neighborhood. The owners, Raquel Ponce and José Robles, are well-known in the Madrid gallery circuit and this new gallery represents sort of a "super-group" effort. They feature mainly Spanish artists who've made it on the international scene, but also occasionally feature international contemporary artists who are making waves.

The gallery features predominantly contemporary artists and it's refreshing to see a gallery taking a firm stance behind Spain's young, up-and-coming artistic talent. The gallery has regular opening hours during the week and regular openings to celebrate new exhibitions.
