Pommelers Rest
The Pommelers rest is down at Tower Bridge, on the south bank of the River Thames. It is a pub with a menu from noon until 7 pm. It usually offers more than chips and sandwiches. The menu is quite varied with meat, sausage and salmon dishes, accompanied by mashed potatoes and vegetables. The location near the Tower Bridge makes it a good choice for lunch, and they serve good quantities at a reasonable price. Now the pub is in a great chain, the JD Wetherspoons. But it remains a partially independent pub, which is why it offers a selection of ales, beers "independent" that change with the season, such as Christmas beer etc.
