Nice Theatre

Excellent

The Politeama-Garibaldi is near Palermo's centre. It is a neoclassical style theater which was completed in 1874. Its facade is very beautiful. It has a capacity for 950 people and it stages many events throughout the year. Immediately outside are bus stops which go to Palermo Airport. We stayed at the Hotel Europa, which was very close to this Theatre.

C'est un théâtre dans le centre de Palerme. Il etait créé par Damiani Almeyda en 1866. De 1910 à Décembre 2006, le foyer du théâtre a accueilli la Galerie d'art moderne de Palerme, qui est ensuite déplacée vers le Palais Bonet. Depuis 2001, le théâtre est la maison de l'Orchestra Sinfonica Siciliana. Depuis l'été 2011 les travaux ont commencé sur la restauration de la façade arrière du théâtre.C'est un théâtre très élégant et connu pour être le "théâtre du peuple"

The Politeama Garibaldi theater is located on Piazza Ruggero Settimo. The work proposes synthetic symmetries in synergy with neoclassical elements characteristic of the Napoleonic Triumphal Arches, with bronze groups of rampant horses placed at the entrance of the building.

Un luogo che è letteralmente impossibile non vedere a Palermo, data la sua locazione, il teatro in sé è meraviglioso e imponente, una delle tracce della Palermo di fine 800, purtroppo però, non è mantenuto a dovere, non viene restaurato da circa 20anni
