The Perfect Observatory

Near the bay of Mont Saint Michel, you'll find this rock outcrop, the tip of the Grouin. It's the perfect observatory to see on the Breton coast, especially its plant and animal life. To get there you'll have to walk, and on the way you'll see lots of trees, flowers, rocks and the sound of birds around us. It is a destination for the more adventurous. Refrain sedentary. From the most outgoing out everything you can see the sea and the coast at its fullest. A gift for our eyes, that daily gains greater number of admirers for its stunning cliffs and lush vegetation. From the top you can see the profile of Mont St.-Michel Abbey.

Their roofs slate weevils as needles skyward make its sunsets among the most bucolic of France.

La pointe du Groin a été mon coup de cœur lors de ce week end breton,cette petite balade sur le haut des falaises noires a été un vrai dépaysement,les paysages étaient semblables à des rives de mer néozélandaises une eau bleu profond dégradant vers le turquoise avec des vagues qui venaient s’eclater contre les roches noires presque volcaniques et la verdure. Un dépaysement assuré où je pourrais facilement rester allonger des heures à contempler l’horizon et profiter de l’air marin.

The tip of the Groin was my very heart during this weekend Breton, this little ride on top of the black cliffs was a real change of scenery, the scenery was similar to the shores of a deep blue sea néozélandaises degrading to the turquoise water with waves that came to almost bursting against the black volcanic rocks and greenery. Faisant partie de la côte d’Emeraude, la pointe du Grouin est l’extrémité la plus au nord de la ville de Cancale. Cette point rocheuse et sauvage, offre un décor granitique, rocheux, déchiré. Plein de petits îlots émergent, ici et là, de la mer agitée. Sur la pointe, un sémaphore servait à surveillé le passage des bateaux, et il réponde au phare de la Pierre-de-Herpin, situé sur un îlot, un peu plus au large. La pointe du Grouin possède aussi une importante variété de faune et de flore.

Part of the Emerald Coast, the tip of Grouin is the most northern end of the town of Cancale. This wild and rocky point offering a granite decor, rock, torn. Full of small islands emerge here and there, the rough seas. On the tip, a semaphore used to secure the passage of boats, and it responds to the flagship Pierre de Herpin, located on an island, a little off. The tip of Grouin also has a large variety of fauna and flora.

Superbes balades le long des falaises battue par les vents et les embruns. La pointe du Groin est balayée de lumières superbes, un véritable régal pour les yeux !! On marche entre les buissons de fenouil dont les fines fleurs se parent de couleurs jaunes et or pour ajouter encore au tableau... il faut visiter au printemps ou début septembre pour éviter la foule :-)

Great walks along the cliffs battered by the winds and spray. The tip is scanned Groin superb lights, a real feast for the eyes! We walk through the bushes of fennel with fine flowers are adorned with yellow and gold colors to further add to the table ... must visit in the spring or early September to avoid the crowd :-)

La Bretagne, un lieu plus que...

La Bretagne, un lieu plus que magnifique, l'air pur rempli nos poumons. Le bleu de l'eau nous éblouit les yeux. Idéale pour les balades en famille et en amoureux. Un dépaysement total, un plaisir de découvrir un nouvel endroit comme celui ci. Un musée se trouve à l'entrée. Une très belle après - midi passé la bas.

Britain, more than a beautiful place, clean air filled our lungs. Blue water dazzles our eyes. Ideal for family outings and love. A change of scenery, a pleasure to discover a new place like this. A museum is located at the entrance. A beautiful post - past noon the bottom.

C'est un très bel endroit avec une baie large, ouverte et magnifique avec vue sur Granville et le Mont St Michel. Il y a des sentiers aménagés mais malgré tout encore sauvages pour des balades agréables même avec des enfants. À la Pointe du Grouin, il y a des restaurants et un hôtel. Vous pourrez aussi admirer le sémaphore et rentrer dans une petite partie de celui-ci (à l'été).

It is a very beautiful place with a wide, open and beautiful bay with views of Granville and Mont St Michel. There are trails laid out but still wild for pleasant walks even with children. At Pointe du Grouin, there are restaurants and a hotel. You can also admire the semaphore and enter a small part of it (in the summer) to admire an ephemeral exhibition.
