Relaxing park with a stunning view of the ocean
What a gem in Los Angeles’ South Bay region! Point Fermin Park offers a Northern California/Central California type of feel right in Southern California with a stunning view of the ocean and the most pleasant breezes. The Point Fermin Lighthouse is also right on site, which was used as a filming location for the movie “500 Days of Summer.” (It’s where Millie’s wedding took place.) There’s a lot of green space for picnics and parties, a pathway with a relaxing view of the blue sea, and a view of Sunken City, which has been closed off to the public. Parking right in front of the park is free, although spots tend to be full on weekends.
