A World Heritage Site
Pocitelj is a village in Herzegovina, 30.5 km south of Mostar, located in the valley of the Neretva River. The main feature of the town is its 16th century Islamic installments, including a madresa, Hadzi Alija Mosque, the bath houses, the tower and a fortress. It has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
