Pleven

Pleven, is a city with a lot of history. It was founded by the Romans and was called Estrogocia, but now, it's just a quarter of the size it was. Here in 1877 was the first battle with the Turks, when their expulsion sent them to Bulgaria. The ethnographic museum is very large, with 3000 years of history, which is normally empty whenever I go. It is well worth a visit, the best time to go is the Spring or Autumn.
