Zimmer square

Lugar ideal para sentarse en una de las terrazas laterales y contemplar la magnífica Zimmertoren y su reloj astronómico. Dedicada al ilustre relojero local Lodewijk Zimmer, un excéntrico adinerado de la villa. Se accede a través de un pequeño y coqueto puente sobre el Nette donde aún quedan restos de la antigua muralla medieval como la Puerta de los Prisioneros (Gevangenenpoort), del siglo XIV. La plaza es muy coqueta, repleta de flores y adornos. Lier se nos presenta ya como una buena opción de visita, y no defrauda!.

Place to sit on one of the side decks and watch the magnificent Zimmertoren place and its astronomical clock. Dedicated to the illustrious local watchmaker Lodewijk Zimmer, a wealthy eccentric of the villa. It is accessed via a small bridge over the Nette flirty where there are still remains of the ancient medieval walls as the Gate of Prisoners (Gevangenenpoort) of XIV century. The place is very charming, full of flowers and ornaments. Lier is presented to us as a good option cards, and does not disappoint!.
