Place Gambetta

Gambetta Square is found in one of the exits of Vannes, passing the massive Port Saint Vincent. Suddenly, you leave the old town and see the sea through this urban port. It's linked to the sea by a long, tree-lined channel which you can walk along. In the square, there are bars and restaurants which overlook the harbor, and a few street musician to give you a local soundtrack!
