Plaza de Espana

This iconic and large square is in the capital of Tenerife and the War Memorial presides here in the form of a tower with a cross on top. This square is between the Plaza de la Candelaria, which is where all kinds of trades take place, and the seafront. Plaza de España was remodeled and where there were gardens, now stands a beautiful little lake like a giant pond with a modern building surrounded by greenery which houses the tourist information centre.
