A Great Experience
We traveled through the Playton Chico Airport in December of 2012. We were there to celebrate my daughter, Sol's 15th birthday. We arrived without hotel reservations, which I don't advise, because there are usually good deals if you book in advance. We were fortunate enough to meet the Yandup gende, waiting for passengers that "fortunately for us" did not arrive. We met Beatriz and her family (one Spanish woman was married to a Kuna) who spoiled us for 4 nights and even organized a birthday party for Sol with cake, flowers and a tribute from the Kuna pepole. It really was a great moment! We visited islands, went snorkeling, swam in dreamlike places, visited the cemetery, and just enjoyed the place, a paradise, just for those who want peace.
