Es amplia, abierta y de arena fina. Su principal característica es el frondoso bosque de pinos y eucaliptos que la respalda. Es una playa de muy fácil acceso (ALP-118) y aparcamiento. Cuenta con abundantes servicios, entre ellos, un chiringuito donde degustar la gastronomía cuevana. Es muy frecuentada por pescadores. Se dice que fue el lugar donde se bañó D. Manuel Fraga, después de caer las famosas Bombas de Palomares.

Chiringuito con un poco de todo, la verdad es que es bastante grande y al mismo tiempo tranquila, está playa lo que tiene es que como te descuides te revuelcan las olas... Quizás por eso lo de quita pellejos. Un gustazo,cuidado con los niños porque en la orilla está movidita el agua pero disfrutan un montón con la tabla de surf.

Playa muy amplia, donde encuentras sitio sin problemas.

Encuentra piedras al entrar al agua pero no molestan en exceso. Otra cosa son los chiringuitos de la zona playa. El trato deja mucho que desear, además de no ser baratos la atención es en su mayoría pésima, y lo que mas me ha molestado es que en casi quince días aquí en la práctica totalidad de ellos. "Los de la playa digo" tratan a las personas con con diferentes raseros. En definitiva. La playa bien, pero para tomarte algo o comer. Ni de broma.

Nos encanta ir toda la familia de pesca. Puedes aparcar muy cerquita de la playa, lo que hace más fácil el cargar y descargar. También puedes pasar la noche tranquilo porque se está bastante acompañado tanto por pescadores como por caravanas.
