Adventure To Anywhere
Wide Open Spaces and Beautiful Sunsets
Playa Negra is located in the province of Guanacaste on the pacific side of Costa Rica. This beach gets its name because of the black sand that sometimes surfaces in the area, and it was made famous by the 1994 film "Endless Summer 2". Unspoiled and significantly less crowded than the beaches in neighboring Tamarindo, Playa Negra is a fantastic place to spend the day, go for a swim, or learn to surf. There are a handful of restaurants within walking distance nearby. Make sure to stay for the sunset - it is one of the most stunning ones I have seen throughout all of my travels!
