Costa Trasmiera
Playa de Loredo is one of the beaches that belongs to the “Costa Tasmiera,” a gorgeous stretch of coast which begins right where the Playa de Somo ends. It’s a semi-urban beach that’s about 1.7 kilometers long and has fine golden sand. There is usually a fair amount of wind so the waters tend to be choppy. It’s famous in the horseracing world for the “Loredo Derby,” an annual race that’s held there.
