Plane Castle

Plane Castle is an absolute gem I was lucky enough to stumble across during a walk along the rural roads around Stirling. It once belonged to none other than the Baron of Plane who received ti from Robert Bruce himself after the the Battle of Bannockburn in 1314.

This castle is now a rental property that can accommodate up to 20 people. It is ideal for weddings and has gardens, a pond, a playground, barbecue area, tree houses and more. The castle still has its original fireplaces.Of course, the prices are high but the place is incredible...it even has secret passages!

I was in luck the day I visited because the manager was there and was kind enough to show me around.
