A place from the past
Every time I go to Uruguay in the summer, I go to Castle Pirie and the surrounding area. It really is a place out of the past where time seems to have stopped. The castle is in perfect condition and you can walk around the inside of it. The gardens are beautiful and there is an old wooden gazebo. When you´re passing by the Uruguayan beaches, definitely make a stop here.
