Pintu Palace

Pintu Palace is located in the center of Cangas de Onis, next to the parish church. It was built in the 20th century and is a copy of a palace from the earlier 17th century, which mimics Asturias. Square in plan, it consists of three floors, emphasizing the large eaves and wall paintings. On the north side stands the original house. A weekly market is open there every Sunday. It currently houses the tax office and inside is the sculpture of Mella political, Gerardo Zaragoza work.
