In this newly formed small penguin colony you can see the Patagonian or Magellanic Penguin, which is usually monogamous and is the best known inhabitant of our shores, with about a thousand penguins that form harems between lions and elephant seals. They arrive in spring and summer to nest in a wide and low hole on the eastern shore of the cove that is sheltered from predators and climatic disasters where they have easy access to places to eat.
