The Most Modern Theatre in the City
The Piccolo Theatre in Milan, formerly known as Teatro Fossati is situated close to the centre of this cosmopolitan city, just a few meters from Castillo Sforczesco. It was founded in 1947 by Paolo Grassi and Giorgio Strehler, who jointly directed until 1967. It is one of the most modern theatres in the city and the courtyard can be visited for free.
