Piazza Ducale
The Piazza Ducale in Vigevano, is much like any Spanish square. It is a square shaped elongated rectangle. It is the main attraction of the city, and has been awarded the fifth place among the most beautiful squares in Italy. It was built for Ludovico Sforza between 1492 and 1493, in record time. Ludovico demolished the old palace of the town of Vigevano in order to create space for this beautiful area to be constructed.
