1 review of Phitsanulok Train Station

Phitsanulok Train Station

The Phitsanulok train station is on the line that runs through Bangkok to Chiang Mai. 3½ hours to Chiang Mai, 5 hours to the city of Ayutthaya and 5-6 hours to Bangkok, depending on the train you choose. You have trains every day and although it's far from a big station, it has a great influx of tourists due to the route. There are more or less hourly trains, although they not very punctual. There are some small shops to buy something to eat or drink, batteries, magazines etc, while you wait for a train. Immediately outside the station you find transport: tuk-tuks, buses and others that take you to your destination or take you on a tour of the temples and interesting places in the city.

There are information panels with different routes, but it's best to ask because many signs are in Thai. Remember that this line runs for miles and one mistake can cost you hours. A greeting.
