Périgueux

On our trip between Spain and the UK, with our own vehicle, when passing through France, we discovered this city feeling and medieval atmosphere village... For us it was charming. In fact, we almost always stop there when we go back to the area. Precisely, this area is located in the Aquitaine region, in the Dordogne department, a very nice area. From a long distance away you can see the impressive and colorful cathedral, which certainly marks the center of the historical part of the town. Narrow streets, balconies, quirky street markets (where you can enjoy delicious croissants, pates and cheeses) and the like make this town a very special place.
