Gorgeous lake and mountain views
This is a medium-difficulty hike in the lakes region of New Hampshire that leads from NH Route 113 at Squam Lake to the summit of Mt. Percival, providing gorgeous lake and mountain views all the while. Many choose to do the hike as a loop with nearby Mt. morgan.
The parking lot for Mt. Morgen is larger and better and likely to be less full. There is some ledge climbing during the last few hundred yards so less-experienced hikers should opt for Mt. Morgan instead. The hike is about 2 miles each way and there is a change in elevation of around 1500ft.
