Peñiscola Plaza Suites hotel

If you are looking to disconnect from the world, this is the place you are looking for. Located next to the beach, between Benicarló and Peñíscola there is this four (well earned) star hotel.

You also have the possibility to rent an apartment, but we chose a suite and we made the right choice. The bedroom was enormous, with an independent dining room (with sofa and TV), and a big and clean bathroom.

The hotel has 4 thematic restaurants but we only tried 3 of them: the American (with Mexican specialties and to die for hamburgers), the Mediterranean (good food, except for the paella), and the French. I had never been to a hotel that offered such a big selection of good food (I recommend it).

I spent ten days there with my wife and we had a great time. The room was fabulous, with two 150 x 200 cm beds. It had a bathroom with shower and bathtub. Beautiful views of the sea.

The staff was great: reception, restaurant, cafeterias, etc. it has a spacious private parking place. I don’t understand the people that complain…I have read the comments, but I don’t understand them.

To sum it up: I recommend the place and we will visit the hotel again.
