Pedra de Sal

Serpa comes highly recommended. The restaurant Pedra de Sal is one of the best known in the city. Its fame has been well earned. It is very typically decorated. Upon entering the restaurant you will be greeted by a lovely garden that invites you further in, where the tables are ready and waiting for you. The food is typical Alentejo and the specialty is meat. I remember taking an excellent picanha and some delicious chips.
