Pedestrian Tunnel

From the palace of Tübingen, near the old town, you can go on a walk through the village center. You can also take another route, longer but equally interesting. It follows the channel up, crossing the old town, and just where it disappears, or where it starts, you come across this pedestrian tunnel crossing the other side of town. There are many like this in German cities. These tunnels were used as bunkers in the second world war. Today, it is just a tunnel, but certainly interesting.

It's great! You can pass from one side of the castle hill to the other in a convenient way - on foot or by bicycle. Sometimes a lovely guy plays violin inside the tunnel.
