Roland Flutet
A symbol of peace
Located on the border between the United States (Washington) and Canada (Province of British Columbia), the Arch of Peace stands on the road that connects Seattle to Vancouver. The monument was built on the exact location of the border, and has monumental double doors with the following inscription: "May these gates never be closed", as a symbol of the long history peace between the two nations.
