The home of Viscount Ervedosa
Between the Church of Mercy and the Abbot Baçal Museum, a building of the early twentieth century was the home of Viscount Ervedosa. It was bought by the state and has had different uses: Headquarters of the municipality, presidency of the republic, cultural center and currently as auditorium and municipal archive. The building is 2-storey with a whitewashed façade - the highlights are the stone recercados doors, windows and corners. The main gate has a presidential balcony and the top is finished in a triangular pediment with a coat of arms.
