Homenaje al primer historiador de Lituania
Este patio al que se accede desde el patio de Motiejus Kazimiras Sarbievijus está dedicado a Simonas Daukantas, alumno de la universidad de Vilnius y primer historiador que escribió la historia de Lituania en lituano. Este patio empezó a formarse a finales del s. XVlll a partir de la casa donada a la universidad por unos nobles. Sobre una de las paredes se puede ver una escultura de Daukantas.
En mitad del patio hay un roble traído de la tierra natal del historiador y plantado con ocasión del 400 aniversario de la Universidad.
This patio accessed from the patio of Motiejus Kazimiras Sarbievijus is dedicated to Simonas Daukantas, student of the University of Vilnius and first historian who wrote the history of Lithuania in Lithuanian. This court began to form at the end of s. XVlll from the house donated to the university by nobles. On one wall you can see a sculpture of Daukantas. In the middle of the courtyard is a homeland brought historian and planted on the occasion of the 400th anniversary of the University oak.
