A great trail

This trail presents little difficulty, and in return offers travelers much charm, so I recommend it if you visit the city of Albarracin and its surroundings. It is convenient to start with the road called "El Arrabal", which is located in the Vega del Guadalaviar. From there you will begin to contemplate a landscape that will encourage you to continue the path. When you get to the river, we will have the magnificent view of the city of Albarracín, nestled on top of a rock at 1171 meters of altitude.

From there you can see all the village, the wall or the immense buttresses that seem to hold the houses up against the mountain, just like the castle, the cathedral, and the ancient walls that were made to keep the city impregnable, though some of the walls are more recent.

In the river area you can see the great height that separates it from the village, which was in most cases a natural wall of protection. From that spot, we can see the Doña Blanca Tower. There's a legend passed by locals that says that Doña Blanca, even to this day, goes out walking like a lost soul by the fringes of the river on the night of the full moon.
