A hidden treasure because of the ride
We went to the waterfall to enjoy the charm of the town and itsical Himalayan buildings, full of life. We saw women weaving on the outside of their houses or washing in any fountain; men with cows. Life is made as the weather permits and there are still many artisans, pastoralists and farmers. As we get closer, the trail becomes easier to follow, more quiet, a path surrounded by green forest and lovely gardens and views of the valley. A couple of chai-shops is where we decided to stop and cool off on the road to the waterfall, simple but charming. The climb is steep, but not hard. Before reaching the waterfall we passed the small temple dedicated to Devi Jogini, and we saw people meditating in silence not only in the temple, but all the way up to the waterfall, and the whole place is considered sacred.
