La Brigada

Nada mejor que deambular por San Telmo y terminar con una buena parrillada en La Brigada. El restaurante es todo un clásico y, especialmente los fines de semana, está siempre lleno, pero vale la pena esperar y degustar su magnífica carne. Es cierto que La Brigada se ha hecho conocido entre el turismo que visita Buenos Aires, de allí que sus precios hayan subido, pero bien vale pagar y pasar por la exquisita experiencia gastronómica. Una provoleta, mollejas crujientes, y morcilla para empezar; vacío, tira de asado, bife de lomo, de cuadril, o matambrito para continuar… Mención aparte merecen el local, que si bien no tiene nada de particular encaja en el tópico ‘parrilla argentina popular’, y sus camareros, que hablan una jerga parrillera (con algunos términos del más auténtico lunfardo) muy pintoresca y difícil de captar.

La Brigada es una típica Parrilla argentina. Sita en el barrio de San Telmo, con decoración futbolera y camareros muy amables y "muy porteños" es una síntesis del Buenos Aires más popular y pensado. Es cierto que cada vez es más conocida entre los turistas que visitan la ciudad, pero por ello sus carnes no pierden ni una pizca de calidad. Así ,como otros productos como las achuras, el chorizo criollo, la provoletta o sus deliciosos panqueques que dejan un recuerdo imborrable entre los más golosos. Sin duda cenar en esta parrilla, es una experiencia culinaria maravillosa, pero además una gran experiencia de Buenos Aires que recomiendo a todos los viajeros. Cené en La Brigada durante mi viaje de novios y guardo un gran recuerdo del trato que recibimos y de la excelente carne que probamos, que nos llamó la atención, aún después de llevar comiendo parrilla toda una semana.

Fuimos un miércoles a la noche, nos hicieron esperar diciendo que no tenían mesa y cuando nos hicieron subir había varias mesas vacías. El mozo (bastante desarreglado para un restaurant que se precia de ser uno de los mejores de San Telmo) apurándonos para que elijamos rápido la comida. La carne buena, aunque nada del otro mundo. Lo peor de todo fue que en un momento el mozo tiró la botella de vino sobre la mesa, derramando el vino en el pantalón de mi hermano, a lo que solo respondió con una disculpa, dado que al momento de traer la cuenta, con un total de no menos de 1950 pesos, no había ningún tipo de atención. A todo esto vale aclarar que la botella de vino era de 370 pesos, y había derramado casi la mitad. La verdad, que una vergüenza.

Gran restaurante, buen ambiente, chiquitito y la carne espectacular. Muy recomendable. El restaurante queda cerca del Viejo Almacén, por lo que es un buen sitio para ir a cenar y luego ir a ver el espectáculo de tango del Viejo Almacén. Muy recomendable.
