A fantastic park
The ancient lands of the estate of Plean were converted into a fantastic park by a group of unpaid volunteers with the help of the government of Stirling. Open to the public with no charge, it also commemorates the once important miners in this part of the country. The park offers several hiking paths or trails, the longest about 5 miles and the shortest 1 kilometer. The horse routes are very famous and are the longest of the trails. There's also the historic route that runs through the stables and mansion of Plean, a path that takes you through many flowers, and another that goes to the farm where the help used to live.
