El Parque Carlos Ibáñez del campo se encuentra en la ciudad de Arica al norte de Chile en la primera región remodelado en el año 2010 por la presidenta Michelle Bachelet.
El parque fue construido inicialmente para la fecha del año de 1961 bajo la colaboración del gobierno pensando en la inversión turística sin duda es una de las principales zonas verdes de la ciudad nortina que sirve como punto de esparcimiento para todos los ariqueños y los visitantes que llegan a la ciudad.
El parque se encuentra atado con bancas las cuales tienen enfrente tableros de ajedrez diseñados en cemento para que las personas puedan jugar en ellos adornado con palmeras qué año tras año han ido viendo el crecimiento desmesurado de las mismas hasta llegar a medir más de 5 metros de altura y las pequeñas que recién han sido sembradas.
Cada día van creciendo más y más sin duda es una de las mejores inversiones por la junta de Arica para los ciudadanos y también para sus visitantes además la remodelación a dejado que el parque pueda verse desde otra perspectiva ya que anteriormente se encontraba muy abandonado.
