Second stop on the Freedom Trail

Excellent

Park Street Church is located on the corner of Park and Tremont street. You can visit from 8:30am to 3:30pm from Tuesday to Saturday but only during the summer. If you are interested in visiting outside of the hours, I recommend calling for an appointment. The most beautiful part of the church is the white spire that stands against the red bricks that make up the landscape of downtown Boston. The first speech in favor of the abolition of slavery (made by Garrison) was made here. For this reason, it is the second stop on the Freedom Trail. Don't miss the Old Granary Burying Ground behind the church.

Do Not Attend This Church

Excellent

Mark Booker, the Senior Minister, and all the Elders of Park Street Church are Biblically unfit to hold the positions that they hold.

In the Spring, 2022, Mark Booker took an ill-advised mission trip to multiple countries, including Turkey. This was foolhardy, because he had been installed as Senior Minister in November, 2021. The church had a failed members' meeting and was in turmoil. Mark Booker was needed in Boston; he should have sent the Minister of Missions on this trip and held off for another year. Moreover, he withdrew his teenage daughter (who was not a senior) from Trinity High School, Boston, so she could accompany him on this trip.
