    Views over the Douro, bright dining room

    Vistas sobre el Duero, luminoso comedor

    Lo mejor es que está sobre una colina, rodeado de bosques y ofrece impresionantes vistas. Todas sus habitaciones tienen vistas al río Duero, a la ciudad que está a sus pies, o a los bosques de los alrededores. El Parador de Soria presenta amplias habitaciones, donde el buen uso de la luz y el espacio crea un ambiente especial. Lamentablemente el edificio es moderno, con amplias cristaleras y fachada metálica, curiosamente alberga en su piso inferior un sector de la antigua muralla de la ciudad. Me encantó el luminoso comedor y como siempre la calidez y amabilidad en el servicio, siempre garantizada en los establecimientos de la red de paradores. Adjunto un vídeo en el que se muestran las vistas sobre el río Duero desde las habitaciones traseras del Parador, y sobre la ciudad desde las delanteras.     The best thing is that it is on a hill, surrounded by woods and offers breathtaking views. All rooms have views of the Douro River, the city is at your feet, or the surrounding woods. The Parador de Soria has spacious rooms, where good use of light and space creates a special atmosphere. Unfortunately the building is modern, with large windows and metal facade, oddly in its lower deck houses a section of the old city wall. I loved the bright dining room and as always the warmth and friendliness of the service, always guaranteed in network facilities spacers. Enclosed is a video that shows the view over the Douro River from the back rooms of the Parador, and the city from the front.     A Parador is a parador.

    Un Parador es un parador.

    En lo alto de un bosque, con unas vistas espléndidas de Soria y del Duero, nos encontramos con este moderno parador atendido por un personal muy profesional, amable y atento. Las vistas de la cafetería y del restaurante son magníficas pero, las que teníamos desde la habitación 426 eran espectaculares. La moderna habitación dispone de una terraza cubierta y otra al aire. En recepción nos recomendaron las número 26 y, en concreto la planta cuarta y sabían lo que decían. Además, el Parador dispone de la famosa galería para disfrutar del paisaje sin frío. A pesar de estar fuera de la ciudad, se llega andando en menos de diez minutos al centro por un agradable paseo. El restaurante en comentario aparte.
    At the top of a forest, with views esplndidas of Soria and del Duero, we find this modern hostel served by a very professional, friendly and attentive staff. The views of the coffee and restaurant are magnficas but we owed the 426 from the room they were spectacular. Modern habitacin has a covered terrace and over the air. At reception we were recommended the number 26 and in particular the fourth floor and Saban what decan. In addition, the Parador has the famous galley to enjoy the scenery without cold. Despite being out of town, you get to walk in less than ten minutes to the center by a pleasant walk. The restaurant in a separate comment.

    Como todos los Paradores que conozco, SUBLIME, y al mismo tiempo en un ubicación inmejorable para observar la ciudad, pero con el mismo problema de muchos, para ir a la ciudad hay que desplazarse en coche con los problemas que conlleva. Pero Soria es una ciudad pequeña y no hay problemas de aparcamiento, al menos no los tuve. Del Parador, habitación enorme, se podía correr en ella, baño (en algún hotel he estado que la habitación era del tamaño del baño del parador). Restaurante magnífico, con buenas vistas a la ciudad. Personal, por primera vez, y espero que única, mejorable.
    Like all Paradores I know, SUBLIME, and at the same time in a great location to see the city, but with the same problem of many, to go to the city have to travel by car with the problems involved. But Soria is a small town and there are no parking problems, at least I do not.     El parador en sí es un edificio moderno y poco bonito por decirlo de una manera suave. Nos dieron una habitación justo en la esquina y se apreciaban unas vistas excelentes sobre el río Duero y sobre la ciudad. Uno de los mejores hoteles en los que he estado hasta la fecha.
    The hostel itself is a modern building and not very nice to put it mildly. The views from the room are extraordinary. We were given a room right on the corner and appreciated excellent views over the Douro river and over the city. One of the best hotels I have stayed to date.

    Buen comer y mejor beber, y nonos olvidemos de las vistas! Impresionante la gente y San Saturio y San Prudencio! Y además todo a orillas del río Duero , también impresionante! Toda una provincia de sabores!

    No es lo que pintan

    Se come mucho mejor en el centro, barato y calidad suprema prueba El Portillo, el mejor asado de cordero y bacalao que he probado de momento. El parador gastronómicamente muy caro, muchos suplementos que encarecen aún más los platos y calidad no muy buena, en fin, no es lo que pintan.

El Parador de Soria se alza en una posición privilegiada, de donde admirar las vistas del valle del Duero y de la ciudad. El moderno comedor presenta una oferta gastronómica muy apetecible: alubias, sopas de ajo, migas, asado de cordero o platos más consistentes como paté de faisán o cochinillo tostado.
