Wonderful hike in Thousand Oaks!
Paradise Falls is a moderate 2.5-mile hike that’s a pleasant little gem in Southern California. It’s best to go in the morning, especially on the weekends, so as to avoid people traffic. Getting to the falls is not too strenuous because most of it is downward. (There’s also a neat teepee along the way.) The waterfall at the end provides for a relaxing view and environment. There are some tables above the falls for those who might want to picnic or take a seat. Going back up the trail is where the small challenge comes in, but it’s not too exhausting if completed at a slower pace. The hike is located in a park that contains other trails, so there’s the option to hike to other places, too.
