Phang Nga Bay

Dicen que es una de las zonas mas codiciadas en el mundo para conseguir el retiro definitivo. Pang Nga se encuentra situada al sur de Tailandia haciendo frontera al norte con la provincia de Ranong, al sur con Phuket y Krabi y al oeste también con Krabi y Surat Tani. Desde aquí existe una distancia alrededor de los 700 km a la capital de Tailandia (Bangkok). A Krabi o Phuket no hay mas de 90 km. Desde Phuket se puede acceder perfectamente por autovía a la provincia de Pang Nga. Esta provincia se dedica fundamentalmente al cultivo pero, a parte de esto tiene un encanto especial que esta en su bahía. La Bahía de Pang Nga alberga un conjunto paisajistico increíble. En este lugar podemos encontrar las aguas mas azules y turquesas para zambullirte, las cuevas mas preciosas para explorar en canoa y las islas mas paradisíacas que pueda soñar el ser humano. Os sonarán rincones como la "Isla Koh Tapu" o isla de James bond http://www.Minube.Com/rincón/54797, también os sonarán rincones como el de las canoas con sus impresionante cuevas http://www.Minube.Com/rincón/66770. A parte de estos ejemplos quedan infinidad de paraisos por descubrir en esta región como por ejemplo las cuevas de Tam Lod por contar alguna de las muchas que hay, el Parque de Sa Nang Manora con sus saltos de agua que estas a 4 kilómetros desde Pang nga en dirección a Krabi. En 1981 el conjunto de mas de 120 islas que alberga esta bahía fue declarado Parque Nacional ( Ao Pang Nga). Los lugares desde donde acceder a este lugar son multiples, entre ellos acordaros del Royal Phuket Marina http://www.Minube.Com/rincón/73036 pero también existen numerosos embarcaderos para acceder a este lugar, entre ellos cabe destacar por su cercanía el de de Tha Dan Sullakakorn o de Surakoon (o ka Sohm) donde se pueden alquilar barcos de gran a pequeño tamaño. Otros de los lugares de interés que puedes visitar en la bahía es la isla de Koh Panyee, destino turístico que alberga una pequeña aldea con restaurantes para degustar el marisco de la zona. La isla de Koh Tapu o James Bond esta en una bahía que pertenece a Kao Silba que es en realidad una roca enorme partida en dos que forma una isla donde se encuentra esta famoso saliente. Uno de los distritos pertenecientes a Pang Nga es la maravillo isla de Koh Yao que esta un poquito más al sur de la bahía y son lugares fenomenales para hacer buceo o snorkel. Cabe destacar que existe en esta zona más de un parque nacional y que las actividades que se pueden realizar son multiples, destacando como hemos dicho las canoas que para mi es la mejor forma de conocer estas formaciones rocosas plagadas de cuevas, la escalada, rafting, pesca, cruceros y excursiones en velero, trekking por la selva, buceo y bueno todo lo que os podais imaginar. Esta bahía se encuentra situada al norte del mar de Andaman donde a escasos 70 kilómetros he incluso en la misma excursión que hagas puedes también visitar lugares como las famosas islas Phi Phi que albergan la famosa playa de Maya Bay http://www.Minube.Com/rincón/68658 y también la laguna preciosa http://www.Minube.Com/rincón/75798, la "Isla huevo" http://www.Minube.Com/rincón/77791 y su hermana menor http://www.Minube.Com/rincón/78266 también se encuentran en estas aguas tan espectaculares. Existe una oferta hotelera bastante amplia en esta región destacando en la zona oeste los que se encuentra en Kao Lak como el Bhandari con un precio medio de 40 euros y otros más económicos como el Khaolak sunset que puede rondar los 30 euros. En plena bahía, en la isla de Koh Yao encontramos alojamientos de ensueño como el Paradise Koh Yao que puede salir por 100 euros la noche pero a su vez encontramos otros como el Koh Yao island cuyo precio puede estar por los 50 euros. Estos precios dependen mucho si lo contratas allí o desde aquí por agencia. En cualquier caso la oferta hotelera es bastante amplia y bueno ya sabeis como es el lujo asiático por el precio que tiene aquí un hotel de tres estrellas allí tienes uno de 5 estrellas. Como veis en esta bahía podeis encontrar prácticamente lo que queráis para pasar unas esplendidas vacaciones ya que ni que decir tiene que a parte de todo lo mencionado teneis la excelente comida tailandesa y lugares para disfrutar de la noche de manera relajada tomando una copita o lo que uno quiera. Nada mas salir del pueblo o villa de Phangan, si te diriges al sur de la isla, te encontrarás con esta playa que te colmará de buenas sensaciones la mires por donde la mires. Su arenita, sus palmeras, su aire pescador y dejado y su alejamiento de las urbanizaciones hacen que todavía conserve ese encanto tropical que tanto buscamos en nuestras visitas a estas islas. el pájaro que veis en las imágenes es capáz de hablar un poco en inglés y en "tai", si lo encuentras....que no se te olvide mandarme un e-mail.

Nothing else out of the town or village of Phangan, if you're heading south of the island, you will find this beach will fill you look good sensations everywhere you look. Située à proximité de Khao Lak, en direction de l’île de Phuket, la baie de Phang Nga est spectaculaire. Connue pour ses 300 pitons calcaires recouverts de végétation et ses grottes naturelles, on l’appelle aussi la petite Baie d’Halong. Certains pitons mesurent plus de 100 mètres de hauteur avec au travers des cavernes et de petits tunnels aux plafonds parsemés de stalactites crée par l’érosion.Pour nous y rendre nous avons pris un bateau de pêcheur traditionnel en bois « long tail boat« , le hic c’est que le moteur rajouté aux bateau fait un bruit d’enfer ! Le site est réellement exceptionnel avec tous ces rochers qui se découpe sur la mer. Avec l’arrivée proche de la mousson l’eau normalement turquoise est à cette période de l’année plutôt sombre mais cela ne gâche en rien la beauté des lieux. Le contraste des couleurs est superbe. Gilet de sauvetage obligatoire malgré la chaleur Le spectaculaire paysage calcaire de la Baie de Phang Nga a conquis le coeur de réalisateurs de films, d’écrivains et de romantiques depuis des décennies. C’est ici que l’on découvre l’île de Kho Tapu, plus communément appelée James Bond Island, rendue célèbre par le tournage du James Bond « L’homme au pistolet d’or » en 1974. Le lieu est devenue hyper touristique et lorsque le bateau nous y a déposé l’île pullulait de touristes ! Il parait pourtant que ce jour là, il n’y avait pas grand monde !!! L’île en elle même ne m’a pas plu du tout, trop de touristes déjà et puis la première chose que l’on voit lorsque l’on sort du bateau ce sont les dizaines de boutiques sur la plage. Poissons séchés, coquillages, cartes postales, breloques en tout genre, on se croirait en plein souk marocain. Le vendeuses n’hésites pas à vous attraper au passage pour vous montrer leur marchandise et sont prête à tout pour réaliser une vente. Je déteste ça !!! Du coup, nous avons préférés grimper dans les rochers et aller de l’autre côté de l’île où il n’y avait personne et où le spectacle était tout aussi beau. Le soleil se reflétait sur l’eau comme milles petites paillettes d’or. C’était calme et beau. Sur le rivage, s’étend la forêt de mangrove où les arbres sont surélevés par leurs racines en forme de parapluie et où l’on trouve parait-il des gavials (les plus grands crocodiles du monde) mais nous n’en avons pas vu. Nous avons croisés un Faucon par contre. Nous avons ensuite repris le bateau pour nous rendre au village de Ko Panyee, Koh Panyee est un village constitué de maisons en bois sur pilotis, peuplé par les gitans de la mer. Une des scènes du 2ème volet de Bridget Jones a été tournée sur ce site. Ici vivent les Moken, ces « gitans de la mer » sont une communauté de pécheurs musulmans (2ème religion du pays) originaires de Malaisie qui vivent isolés, dans un véritable village flottant. On y trouve une mosquée, un cimetière, une école, des magasins, des restaurants et des habitations, le tout relié par des pontons. Nous avons fait le tour du village, à marrée basse et j’imagine qu’à marée haute les sensations doivent être très différentes. Le décor dans lequel nous évoluons est tout de même assez surréaliste. La vie du village est principalement centrée sur le tourisme. A côté des pontons, se trouve un requin tigre retenu en captivité pour épater la galerie et dans les ruelles du village, certaines femmes tiennent dans leurs bras des bébés gibbons. Les photographier est payant et surtout encourage le trafic de ses singes enlevés à leurs mères dès leur plus jeune âge et relâcher dans la nature complètement déboussolés une fois adulte. Cet aspect de l’île et sa saleté à certains endroits montrent à quel point le tourisme de masse peut être néfaste. Pour toutes ces raisons, mon impression était plutôt mitigé après cette visite. Les paysages de la Baie de Phang Nga sont magnifiques et le village de Panyee vraiment atypique, je ne regrette pas de les avoir vus d’autant que cela permet de découvrir une autre facette de la Thaïlande mais le côté trop touristique m’a un peu gêné.

The island itself does not please me at all, too many tourists now and then the first thing you see when you come out of this boat are dozens of shops on the beach. Dried fish, shells, postcards, trinkets of all kinds, it's like in the Moroccan souk. The vendors do not hesitate to grab you the way to show you their goods and are desperate to make a sale. I hate it! So we preferred to climb the rocks and go to the other side of the island where there was no one and where the show was just as beautiful. The sun reflected on the water like a thousand small gold sequins. It was quiet and beautiful. On the shore lies the mangrove forest where the trees are raised by their roots umbrella-shaped and where we find it seems the gharial (the largest crocodiles in the world) but we have not seen . We crossed by a Falcon against. We then took the boat to get to the village of Ko Panyee, Koh Panyee is a village consisting of wooden houses on stilts, inhabited by sea gypsies One scene of the second part of Bridget Jones has been turned on site. Here live the Moken, the "sea gypsies" are a community of Muslims sinners (second religion of the country) from Malaysia who live isolated in a floating village. There is a mosque, a cemetery, a school, shops, restaurants and homes, all connected by pontoons. We toured the village at low tide and high tide I imagine that the feeling must be very different. The setting in which we operate is still quite surreal. Village life is mainly centered on tourism. Alongside the pontoon is a tiger shark held in captivity for grandstanding and in the village streets, some women in their arms gibbons babies. The photograph is a charge and especially encourages its traffic taken from their mothers at an early age and relax in completely disoriented an adult nature of monkeys. This aspect of the island and its dirt in some places show how mass tourism can be harmful. For all these reasons, my impression was rather mixed after this visit. The landscapes of Phang Nga Bay are beautiful and the village Panyee really unusual, I do not regret having seen all that allows you to discover another side of Thailand but too touristy side was a bit embarrassed.
