Palermo is the capital of Sicily. It is a city with charm to visit if you go to the south of Italy. Culturally it is not very rich but it has interesting squares, the theater, the cathedral, the botanical garden, its streets and cuisine, etc. If you like soccer you can go to see the Palermo for pretty cheap. I Saw Palermo-Inter for 30€, I was right by the field by the north goal. There are also nice beaches. From there you can go to Agrigento, Etna, etc.
