Simonetta Di Zanutto
A must see
You really can't miss this splendid palace, overlooking the Piazza Vecchia. The building that currently houses the library is called the new building, and was designed in 1593 to replace the previous building. It was renovated in 1611, and the facade was completed between 1927, and 1928. It used to be the town hall, and in its interior there are frescoes and sculptures. Today it houses the library, which was founded in 1764, and contains more than 500,000 volumes.
