Palazzina D'Ancona

L'elegante palazzina di Piazza d'Azeglio è un classico esempio di architetturadi fine ottocento ed è stata realizzata dall'architetto Felice Francolini per volere di Sansone D'Ancona,grande uomo politico fiorentino che amava circondarsi di grandi personalità dell'epoca e frequentare gli allora in voga salotti Peruzzi. La palazzina non vide molti rifacimenti tranne quando passò a Niccolò Mancini Ridolfini Corazzi, nel 1930 dove li fu ampliata e modificata all'interno. Ancora oggi si può ammirare lo splendido cancello in ferro battuto, arte minore fiorentina che l'ha sempre portata in auge e che ancora oggi vede tanti artigiani a lavoro, creando splendidi capolavori.

The elegant building of Piazza d"Azeglio is a classic example of architetturadi late nineteenth century and was built by the architect Felice Francolini behest of Samson D"Ancona, the great Florentine politician who liked to surround himself with great personalities of the time and attend then in vogue Peruzzi salons. The building did not see many remakes except when passed to Niccolò Mancini Ridolfini Corazzi, where in 1930 it was expanded and modified inside. Even today you can admire the beautiful wrought-iron gate, the lower Florentine art that has always brought into vogue and still sees many craftsmen at work, creating beautiful masterpieces.
