Former Palace
This former palace is now a hotel. I've been a few times (I think it was three times) and it is a very nice hotel with lovely staff. Remember to make a reservation at the Burgo Restaurant, of the best I've found. This hotel Meliá Palacio de lousa, has been declared a Historical Heritage site. Located in the center of the town of Lousa, it has 46 rooms, each with a bathroom, air conditioning, telephone, mini-bar, TV and safe. They also have a nice pool and a parking lot at the back of the hotel. The palace consists of an old wing (the Palace itself) and a new wing decorated in a modern style and good taste.
It is a four star hotel including a great buffet breakfast with views of the mountains to recuperate and then to visit Nuestra Señora De Piedade, a couple of miles from hotel. Enjoy eating at the Burgo Restaurant and allow yourself to be seduced by the natural environment.
