Un paseo por la historia
En el pueblo de Moral, que fue capital del concejo de Sariego hasta el S.XIX, nos encontramos con el Palacio de Moral. Pertenecía a la familia Vigil-Quiñones la cual ostentó cierto poder en el municipio. Fue construido en el S.XVI y cuenta con una capilla bajo la advocación de San Roque. A pesar de su estado de abandono no deja de llamar la atención su majestuosidad, sus dos torres y su galería de madera; pero sobre todo los escudos de armas de la familia, que, junto con el escudo de Siero, forman parte del de Sariego, puesto que éste perteneció a Siero hasta bien entrada la Edad Media. No dejéis de acercaos a pasear por una parte de la historia de Sariego.
In the village of Moral, which was capital of the council until the nineteenth century Sariego, we find the Palacio de Moral. He belonged to the Vigil-Quiñones family which boasted some power in the town. It was built in the sixteenth century and has a chapel under the invocation of San Roque. Despite its state of neglect continues to draw attention to its majesty, its two towers and wooden gallery, but above all the coats of arms of the family, which, together with the coat of Siero, part of Sariego , since it belonged to Siero well into the Middle Ages.
