Painted houses

It's easy to see fronts of houses painted in every color of the rainbow as you're alking through the streets of Lucerne. They're in every part of this ancient city. The truth is that for those of you who aren't used to seeing them in your city, you'll be surprised. And usually are very nice. Some are painted with motifs of Carnival. It feels very strange to the visitor because you're always looking up to see what you find in the next house.
