The best option to visit in Morocco

This valley south of Marrakech is the best option you have if you want to rent a car and have a quick tour around ... I rented a car and went to Zagora and Merzouga, But instead of going from Marrakech to Ouarzazate I went down the Valley of Ourika. A lovely valley with gorges, waterfalls, valleys, mountains ... Etc. In the valley you can visit the town of Moulay Brahim which is displayed on the map. Y can stop for a drink and visit its souks. If you follow the road you can reach Setti Fatma where you find pretty waterfalls. The climb to the falls is a little crooked so go with comfortable shoes because you have to go up a half cliff.

All this is accompanied with the best green landscape of Morocco. You can do this journey in one day, in fact I left Marrakech early morning and got to Ouarzazate to sleep after visiting all the Ourika valley in peace. For lunch you will find thousands of places coming to Setti Fatma Tajinne and there is the best choice ... In fact you will see in the video where I ate as there is quite a difference with the other posts on money ... If you liked this place and want to continue traveling in Morocco look at My Profile for more places to make your journey! And if you have any questions, ask me. I'll gladly answer. A GREETING FROM MINUBE!

A Very Enriching Experience

On our trip to the Ourika Valley we had the chance to visit a Berber house to get to know all about their customs and to witness their way of life. As the title says, this was a very enriching experience without doubt, as they have a completely different lifestyle to most of us, and that makes you reflect on several different aspects of life. Inside the house we had the opportunity to see the facilities and utensils used in daily life. Then we were invited to sit down in the main hall, where the family matriarch showed us how to perform the tea ritual, and then allowed us to taste it. The guide who accompanied us told us something that struck me, that this family had been forced to "sell" their privacy to tourists in order to be able to survive and earn their money with our visits, which is heavily criticised by the other residents in the village and so they are socially despised among all their neighbours.

Besides this, we could see a little 13 year old girl who had never left her house and would never leave until she were to marry. Certainly, there are some ideas and ways of looking at life which are totally different from what most of us know. This visit to the Berber house is undoubtedly the most interesting part of the tour along with the views that can be seen.
