Our Lady of Socorro Church
It is surprising to see in such a small town, this huge church which is visible from the road. Although the early Church was built in the sixteenth century, there have been various reforms (a reform had special relevance in the eighteenth century) giving its current appearance today. It has a Latin cross and the nave is of higher elevation at the side. It has a large bell tower on which there is a weathervane in the shape of a Greek cross. Whilst at the church, if you go down a side street you get to the famous cemetery of the village, which has been recognized as a National Monument.
