Otz Valley

La valle tirolese di Otz (otztal in tedesco) si trova subito al di là del Passo Rombo che la divide dalla Val Passiria. Molto turistica in inverno ed anche in estate sia per le numerose escursioni possibili che per le ottime piste da sci, la Otztal è famosa in particolare per la sua gara ciclistica, la [poi=65701]Otztaler[/poi] durante la quale migliaia di ciclisti da tutto il mondo si sfidano in una prova di forza e resistenza lungo le montagne della zona. [poi=65681]Solden[/poi] è il principale centro da cui partono le cabinovie che conducono ad alta quota. Da [poi=131611]Vent[/poi] si può raggiungere il ghiacciaio del Similaun ed altri situati in prossimità.

The Tyrol's Otz (otztal in German) is located immediately beyond the Passo Rombo which divides it from Passeiertal. Very touristic in winter and also in summer and for numerous excursions and for the excellent skiing, the Otztal is particularly famous for its cycling race, the Otztaler during which thousands of cyclists from around the world compete in a test of strength and endurance along the mountains in the area. Solden is the main center from which the cable cars that lead to high altitudes. From Vent, you can reach the glacier Iceman and others located nearby.
