Osorno Volcano

The 1st time I visited the lakes in Chile I could not see this volcano. This 2nd time I almost ran out to see it, but luck was on my side, and just before I left, the clouds disappeared and I could see it in all its glory. Situated just over 60 miles from Puerto Varas, close to the village of Ensenada, is one of the most perfect volcanic cones of southern Chile. Along with Lake Llanquihue, beneath it, makes it worthy to be one of the most photographed areas of Chile.
