small oasis of shade and tranquility

While visiting El Borges, a village along the Route of the Raisin in the Axarquia, and after dropping down one of its hills, I found this surprising little park. In this small town, this park is well kept and harbors a surprising number of plant and animal species. The Botanical and Ornithological Park, or, The Alcua, seemed a little oasis of shade and tranquility amidst the sweltering heat of July, so I started to explore it, driven both by curiosity and a need to escape the heat a little. Inside I found species like Ostriches, Peacocks, Ducks, Geese, Swans, Parrots of Patagonia, Lovebirds, Pheasants, and Galllinas (Castilian and mestizo), all caged and enclosed.

Shadows gave the green of the trees and plants that adorn the grounds a certain freshness. Among the plants I saw were: Eastern Bananas, Bamboo, Roses, Artificial Pepper, Peaceful Fern, Jasmine, Palms, Yuccas and other natives. The park is open to the public every day from 10.00 to 20.00, free of charge.

Lamentable el dinero que se gastan las administraciones en sitios que inicialmente están bien pensados pero que luego después pasan de mantener. Esto es Andalucía. no Germany, qué podemos pedir. No sé cómo la pareja de gansos que habita este rinconcito se mantiene viva. Será por la comida que le echamos los turistas, pero es que no tienen ni agua. Lamentable.

Abandoned. Lamentable the money spent administrations on sites that are initially well thought out but then later go on to maintain. This is Andalusia in Germany, which we can ask for. I do not know how the couple of geese that inhabits this little corner stays alive. It will be for the food that we throw the tourists, but it is that they do not have nor water !!! Regrettable
