Oradea no es uno de los lugares más visitados de Rumanía ni muchísimo menos, sin embargo, una visita de unas horas o dormir una noche es recomendable si buscas un lugar tranquilo lejos del turismo de otras ciudades como Brasov o Sibiu.
Una opción es ir al Teatro, el Teatrul del Stat, fue construido por los mismos arquitectos que diseñaron la Ópera de Viena, lo que recuerda el pasado esplendor de una ciudad que perteneció a Hungría hasta después de la Primera Guerra Mundial. Fellner y Hellmer, de nacionalidad austríaca, eligieron un estilo neoclásico para el también llamado Teatro de la Regina María, que fue construido en sólo quince meses.
Lástima que no esté abierto para visitas pero por fotos del interios que he visto creo que realmente merece la pena ir una noche a alguno de sus espectáculos, ya que está considerado de los más bonitos del país.
En las calles adyacentes hay varios restaurantes y bonitos bares, está además cerca el puente que atraviesa el Crisul y que comunica con las dos partes de la ciudad.
